We met in high school well, not technically IN high school since we went to rival schools in Yuma Arizona but more like hanging out with our friends on the weekends and doing the cruise (does anyone remember when that actually happened?). Anyhow, we spent a lot of time together even though we never actually dated each other. We shared a love of photography that we goofed around with quite a bit. After graduation we both went our separate ways, DJ ending up in Illinois before back to AZ and Rose in Northern Cali. We kept in touch over the years randomly and managed to get together a few times. Well, fast-forward to 2008 and we find ourselves (gasp!) actually dating. We joke now about those two whole months because even though we have known each other for half our lives, thats how long we dated before DJ proposed to Rose at a trip to Disneyland just outside the princess castle.
And now......
We continue enjoying our love for photography and each other running Rose Photography in the quaint, quiet, country town of Dixon, California - located between the San Francisco Bay Area and the Sacramento Valley, close to both the Lake Tahoe Region and the Napa Valley. We love our little community and are active by serving as photographers for the Chamber of Commerce and serving on the Boards of both the Chamber and the Dixon Downtown Business Association (DDBA).
The studio is located at 232 East A Street and is open by appointment. We welcome you to come by and check it out sometime!
